Short and sweet...I felt guilty like I did almost nothing but it was a PR and I did the first half of the workout yesterday.
Then off to the kitchen to prepare some Schnitzel. Last night I cooked pan fried sirloin tip steak which was very good. Sliced very thin and the wife bought by mistake so I was glad it turned out well. I am doing almost all the cooking as the wife is very depressed. I do what I can...

I have lost maybe 5 pounds and actually had to go 1 notch smaller on the weight belt today. About one and a half inches. My doctor and myself are saying this gut has to go and I'm good with that. I was my strongest when I weighted no more than 190. I weighted 205 this AM. Cutting out junk food the best I can.

More good news today...Test results from 5-day monitor...I'm constantly staying in A-fib. with runs of ventricular arrhythmia. Just what I needed. I was fine in the December checkup. Changed to another Beta blocker and Zarelto. They try to rape you on costs of these meds.
Oh well some of you have had it worse so who am I to complain!

Sorry to read of your heart issues. I had to wear a Holter monitor for a week, during the hottest part of August. IT.WAS.NOT.ENJOYABLE.
And yes, the drug companies are raping the public (at least on the drugs I've been prescribed in the past). I had to fight with BCBS to get a brand name thyroid med just now.

On the Holter I wore this time it was at least Bluetooth so no wires and just the double sensor over the heart. Only problem was the adhesive or the plastic broke my skin out around the thing... I certainly hope you get your issues straightened out.

I did 260-4 5 weeks ago and today the 4th rep moved slower than I have ever pulled before. Bailed on 5th rep. I felt like I ran out of energy. I don't know if it's the new meds or I need to add some carbs for breakfast. The presses were not to the planned level either. Maybe just an off day... $*#t!
After that bit of frustration I went outside to take care of some trimming that the boss asked for. If any of you do your own yard and need to do some trimming beyond the scope of a normal weed eater and you have the right trimmer you should try one of these carbide blades. They cut like butter up to a couple inches. Very inexpensive also.

Last Friday I did 190-2-2 but a single at 190 was it today. I felt way off just like squats yesterday. Left shoulder complaining up to 190 but stopped after going to 16" grip. The pulls Monday were off also so whats up with that? Afib...new meds? I don't get it. These are way off my PR... 12-21-2021 I did a 210-3*
