I need some of your mojo Mr. B. You are a squat machine. I am having to balance stress output with my heart issues. A low ejection fraction was shown last week on echo cardiogram. Blah

blah, indeed. As much as I dislike these extra 15 or so pounds I've put on, they are making my squats much more solid. I guess my days as a Jim Palmer-like underwear model are over...
We'll be the judge of that.

The shoulder is finally feeling better. 30 pounds less than last summer's bench single of 225 but between all the issues I am dealing with and losing 15 pounds of body weight since late June I will take it.

Right before I was going to lift at 1pm today I started having dizzy spells so I almost did not even do these...wtf now? Felt wierd all afternoon.
Still dropping weight.
I hope your feeling better. Maybe the dizziness was due to any medication your taking, dehydration or low sugar. It sure has been hot too. I recently wrote to a well known author on strength training who seems to specialize in older lifters,he is 65 himself. He wrote back saying he advises those over 60 to stay as lean and hard as possible and keep lifting to maintain muscle mass. He said you don't have to gain weight to get stronger, same thing Shugg told me. As far as the sqts go, just think how many people can't even sqt down to tie their shoes.
