Cardiologist tried a stress test, panicked, 'get out of here, go to ER go to ER!, you're having a heart attack!" My SO told him this is multiple times a day, all the time, every day. I can SEE and feel it - and at times he'll have no energy, weak/fluttery beat - either way its struggling to do things.
Just be careful; you're in my prayers.
    Thanks Deb!

It sounds like some good diagnostic work needs to be done for SO and then get a plan to improve things. If you don't think one doc is worth a shit find another opinion as my brother-in-law went through this before he finally got the right one sending him to the correct specialist. I hope he gets to feeling better soon.

Hey Fred, thanks for the comment on my DL, I was happy with it, after competing just about a month ago. It seems extra tough working back into those heavier weights following the break after a meet nowadays, but as we both know, growing old is not for sissies! It's nice to see you easing back into your own routine, and with the weight loss to boot, keep up the good work.

You had good numbers in that meet which shows you are doing something right. One State record and three National records. Hard work pays off in your case.

I also appreciate the encouragement! The work is the easy part. The problems I am finding out about being older are injuries and illness. They tend to cause more than two steps back sometimes

I started a new heart med Friday and so far it seems to be helping.

I had that issue the past two weeks being in OK. I know that the humidity there is still quite a bit less than what you're experiencing, but man, that stuff is a soul-sucker. Especially doing work in a house with no air conditioning and minimal air flow. I'm surprised that I managed the work that I did at the gym.

Yes it might have been humid there but reading your log you had a great time and got some good coaching so congrats for that.

It was 92 and humid here today and I spent most of the afternoon outside cutting grass and weed eating. Tonight a "cold" front will take us into fall weather with dew points in the fifties and then forties...yahoo. Fifty eight degrees tonight and high of seventy seven tomorrow.I love fall when it feels like fall.

Man I just cannot describe how nice it is outside. It makes a person feel better.

    9-23-2022 Friday

    Weight 192

    Squat
    070-3
    120-3
    170-3

No back off sets.... just getting back up to a body weight squat was enough for me today. AND NO dizzy or lightheaded issues. Now lets get outside.......

    Oh yeah..treadmill.
