No not given up just have had a lot of things going on and some back tweaks. I am hoping to get back to more back work soon. Thanks for asking.

    3-7-2023 Tuesday

    Pulls
    120-3
    170-3
    220-3

Not much but it's a start. Gonna go slow and use caution with the back which I had to force myself to do today as these were easy.

    Bar hang.

Forgot bar hang. Forgot to do 3 sets across on the bench. Geez I need a keeper.

I tried heavy/light this week and it seemed to work on the bench. That way I can have fixed days on that lift and a lighter overall lift day during the week when my energy use is heavy.

Sick with a cold or something yesterday and today I am doing reps on the Ivory throne but still got this lift day in. No rehab today.

    070-4
    120-3

    Squat...high bar
    070-4

This went okay for the way I felt. High bar...yep I am so sick of squats I had to do something different. I might continue with these. I will see how they go. I was definitely more upright and the quads said "Hi there, long time no see."

Not going heavy on all lifts every time you lift may be the way to go. Maybe something like you go heavy on sqts go lighter on the DL. Next week lighter Sqts and heavy DL. Might work with the press and bench too.

Like I have said, you can train heavy every week if you do a similar, but different exercise. Louie Simmons was spot on.
This is why I am rotating Conventional Deadlifts, Double Dumbbell Deadlifts, and Trap Bar Deadlifts every Saturday.

Definitely some great ideas to think about and plan for. You are certainly very strong doing that!

I like Marty Gallagher and have been watching some of his videos this morning and I like the way he trains the squat. More upright and does not look like an out of control good morning. I still want to build my legs up.

    Happy St. Patrick's Day!

An ok day. Back felt better after pulls. I did pullovers just to stretch the chest and shoulders as they are tight. That is one reason I do not OHP much as it is uncomfortable. Maybe these will help if I remember to do them.
