Yes Jerry it seems like basic skills are ignored these days and that you need a phone to tell you how to do your job. Pretty sad and irritating to have to deal with these folks.

    120-3

Back finally feeling better after a tweak a couple weeks ago. My back does not like doing 5 rep pulls sometimes.

Now more moving stuff out of my gym expansion space. I remember when I only had a small amount of "stuff"...

Glad that you're on the mend, Fred.

I hear you on the "stuff." We were having a nice coffee & walkaround this morning with good friends. The focus of the walk was to see the spring melt pouring over the waterfalls downtown. A ridiculous amount of water, although not the most we've seen. He and I were discussing what lines to take on a kayak, which neither one of us have. He thought that we should, and I laughed - "I've already got too many toys!". He disagreed, but we moved on.

Thanks Bill. Most of my stuff is left over project items or storing future or current projects to be finished. Also a lot of tools. More than I need at this stage in my life. I am trying to get my son in law to take some of them but either way many things are going away. I am also still dealing with a roof leak(s) and cannot get what storage I have in order until that is taken care of.

Looks like the bench is climbing back up Fred, good for you. I was pretty happy with the 205 I did a month ago, I only hope I can move it up a bit more this year. Hope you're feeling better now, stay with it.

Thanks Walt! Today was ok for the way I have felt lately with little quality training. I did 205 14 weeks ago. I still want to get back to where I was before all this started which was December 2021 when I was benching 202 for 2 sets of 4 reps and the squat was at 250. Time will tell as a lot of the time I'm not feeling too bad but the body just does not respond to training as well as it was previously but I am not giving up that's for damn sure.

I am glad to hear that you are happy with how your training is going. You stick with it too!

This was reduced from a planned progression of 3x3@182 for yesterday. I did not even try squats. Sunday's lifts were okay and I felt great through Tuesday with my sore throat gone. BUT after going to rehab Wednesday and getting very sweaty (as always) by seven that evening my throat was swollen up again, right ear hurt and I felt like crap. I must still have something going on maybe an ear infection or something. Crap
