At least you got some lifting in. For sure better than blowing it off.

Yes sir but it just blows when you know you are feeling strong and ready to progress and then this. It could be worse I guess. I think this is allergies but I just don't know why getting hot and sweaty sets the throat and ear pain off. I plan on dropping rehab (almost over anyway) and doing it at home at my own pace now that I have gotten in what for me is decent cardio shape. I just won't do it for as long per session. I am the only one at rehab that goes as long as I do. The others stop cardio and then do the weight and stretching program.

    That is the way.

But know that you are not alone.

    Do it anyway.

Today is my no-lift day, but that means it's my longer HIIT workout. I had zero desire to do it, especially after the smoke blew in last night (which drags me down even more than the normal blooming seasonal stuff). But seeing my bride head out to get out under the bar nudged me in the right direction. It wasn't my best performance on the rower, but it wasn't my worst. And now it's done.

It seems like a day ago since I lifted as I am just now getting to my protein shake after gutter cleaning and grass cutting so I'll see but thanks for the push.

Another short lift day with a somewhat achy throat. Better than nothing. I am about to tell my bride Happy Birthday for the 52nd time. Our 50th wedding anniversary is in a month. No wonder I feel old.
