Light overhead stretches. Cardio later. That last bench rep made me want a nap. I am working on getting a lat pulldown going. Hopefully soon.

Solid reps but stopped there as I am still suffering with this crud. Broke down and made a doctor appt. next week to get something to rid myself of this crap. Sucks how long it takes to see a doctor these days and how corporate they have become. I miss my old doc where you could walk in and be seen. Ah the good old days...haha.

Yep, that's the tough part about the corporate medical industry. My PCM is still part of a privately owned clinic, and as much as they drive me nuts with the constant pushing of prescriptions every time there's a test, I know I can call and get a same day if I absolutely needed it.

Hopefully you're feeling well enough to enjoy the weekend!

Thanks Bill. I did get a Tuesday appt. so I guess I can deal with whatever it is till then. I do actually feel like I have a slight fever tonight but I can take it easy for now. You have a great weekend too!

    That's all folks!

Everyone have a great holiday weekend!

I would like to remember my uncle for his service. He got shot all to hell at Normandy.

I would like also to thank my "big brother figure" who went down with the USS Thrasher.

Thank you to our veterans alive or dead for your service!

    6-1-2023 Thursday

    weight 199

    Bench
    080-4
    120-4
    160-3
    187-3
    170-3...17"

    Light pullovers for stretching.

    Bar hang.

That's it for today as far as lifting. Still limited energy due to sinus crap but now have a chance with some new meds to try to knock it out. Still burning through remodeling and yard work so no surplus energy but it will improve soon I hope. My lift area is now a bit larger and I hope to get more things going soon. I feel so lazy with so little lifting but that's it for now.

I guess all we can do is what our body will allow. I'm doing what for me allows me to not feel beat up and still make some slight improvement. I've got my BW down to 195. I know I'd be stronger at 220 but it would not be good health wise at my age.

I concur with Jerry, Fred. We do what we can depending on our own individual circumstances, the main thing is that we're all hangin' in there and doin' the best we can. Not bad at all on those benches, you're keepin' me motivated there.
