Missed the mark a bit on weight loss last week it seems. Probably from enjoying myself a bit too much over the weekend celebrating my girlfriend's birthday. Oh well, at least I didn't sabotage things entirely with all the rum and empanadas. Digging out my long ass driveway after this doozy of a snowstorm will probably help make up for it.

No intervals today. Spent the afternoon digging out the foot of snow that was covering my very long driveway, and definitely went into today's workout with significant fatigue. It was a miracle I got all 5 squat reps, 5 got really dicey. I'm content to call all that work my "conditioning" for the day and not pile on anything more. After my workout was done, I discovered it had begun to snow all over again, so I'm probably gonna end up doing the same shit tomorrow.
Noticed on my squat my left foot was pushing itself into a more straight angle by the end, which was weird. I was squatting without any orthotics today, in either shoe. I think having one in the left shoe is the way to go for now.

No intervals, I had a really bad headache last week, no idea where it came from, but it was aggravated by fast movement.

No bag work today. I had to cut my workout short for an important phone call. Switching from an apple with my protein drinks to a handful of carrots really seems to have made a big difference. I am a little concerned a 3.2 pound drop might be a bit much, but it probably won't amount to quite that next week. Still managed to do the heavy bench set okay. I am a little concerned I've missed a lot of conditioning, hopefully it'll go alright tomorrow.

I think I'm going to axe the conditioning work, at least the interval stuff. It doesn't seem to be a big help. I was hoping maybe doing it would leave me better able to do heavy squats and get back into the game quicker, but I don't think this is having that effect. So I did some crunches instead. Maybe it'll help keep my trunk tighter in the squat.
