    35 - 5’10” - 225lbs.
Been over in the starting logs for about a year. I ran 4 months of NLP, gained about 15 lbs. I lost some consistency with training while we moved across town over the summer. I’m back training consistently 3-5 days per week but I only train one or two of the main lifts in each session. Squat and deadlift are still progressing. Bench Press and Press are treading water. I may run a program or two at some point.

    First Ever NLP

    3/21/21

    Deadlift
    440x2
    440x3 - PR

I had to break up this set of five, but got the volume. Felt pretty heavy today. I was working a lot in the yard this weekend and (maybe) had a few too many drinks.

    Deadlift
    445 x 5 - PR

    Nice to get the PR.

Only concern was the bar lost contact with my legs on 3 or 4 of the reps. Have to figure out what’s going on there.

    4/3
    Squat
    400 x 3

I was planning to do two sets x 3, but felt a little tightness in my right hamstring after this set. This has been the most I have trained in a week for a long time, and I don’t think I’m quite recovered. Motivation is high, but I decided to call it a day. I am planning to pull a try and pull a 5 RM deadlift PR tomorrow.
