Today's work: Hypertrophy (aka higher rep sets)

    SSB w/belt - 295 x 10r x 3s
    Bench - 215 x 10r x 3s
    BW rows - 21, 11, 6 (1 minute rest between sets)

    Good workout. Lots of sweat!

    SSB squat w/belt - 365 x 6r x 3s (Time to add 5 lbs)
    Bench - 320 x 1, 300 x 2, 285 x 3, 275 x 4
    Pullups - BW + 25lb - 7, 7, 7 (add 5 lbs next weighted pullup day)

    Good day

    More flailing away...

    SSB squat w/belt - work up to 425 x 1, 390 x 3 x 3
    Bench - 265 x 5r x 4s
    Rows w/belt and straps - 255 x 7, 6, 5

Rows were wonky. Should've dropped the weight a bit to get more back and less "heaving" the bar into my chest. Oh well, live and learn.
Squat and bench went as planned. Happy about 390 x 3 x 3. Short term goal would be 400 x 3 x 3. It would feel good to get into the 400+ range for reps.

Coming down with a cold, which sucks. Hitting it hard with supplements and stuff. Still, it's got to run it's normal course, which is a pain in the butt.
    Anyway, today's work:

    Press w/belt - 165 x 5, 5, 4, 4 (was 4x4 last time, so an improvement)
    Snatch Grip DL w/belt - 365 x 4, 4, 4

    Today's work - hypertrophy day.

    SSB squat w/belt - 300 x 10r x 3s
    Bench - 220 x 10r x 3s
    Pullups - BW x 11, 11, 10

28 days until I hit 50. The 40s are so fleeting...

    Today:

    SSB squat w/belt - work up to 430 x 1 (ties all-time PR), 395 x 3 x 3
    Bench - 265 x 6, 6, 5, 5
    Rows w/belt and straps - 245 x 8r x 3s

Squat PR felt really good. Could've done 10 more pounds - all in due time.

    This morning:

    Bench Intensity - work up to 322.5 x 1, 302.5 x 2, 287.5 x 3, 277.5 x 4
    SSB w/belt - 370 x 5r x 3s
    Pullups - (BW + 35) x 6, 6, 5

Getting a bit hard the way I've organized my workouts. Going to change things up next mini-cycle so I don't get beat up before my intensity day. I plan on something like the following:

    Day 1:
    -Squat Intensity
    -Bench Intensity
    Day 2:
-Squat Hypertrophy (3 Sets of 10)
-Bench Hypertrophy (3 Sets of 10)
    Day 3:
-Squat Strength (3 sets of 5 to 6)
-Bench Strength (3-4 sets of 5 to 6)
    Day 4:
    -Deadlift
    -Press
    Day 5:
    -Rest

    Deadlift and Press day:

    Press w/belt - 165 x 5r x 4s
    Deadlift w/belt - work up to 480 x 4, 405 x 6

This ties my all-time set of 4 PR.
Next goal: tie my all-time triple at 505 (I think this will be a bit tougher, however)
