Thank you, Shug. You and others on this board show it is possible to stay strong into your fifties and beyond!

    Today's work (heavy day):

    SSB squat w/belt - 430 x 1r x 4s, 385 x 3, 3
    Bench - 300 x 2 x 3, 275 x 4

Felt off today. Coming down with my second cold in 6 weeks - though not as nasty as my first. It's gone through the family - now my turn!

    More heavy stuff:

    DL w/belt - 500 x 1, 1, 405 x 3 x 3
    Press w/belt - 185 x 2r x 5s

DL was very heavy. Wanted to do another single, but after the second one, that was it.
I think I'm going to try a real program starting next week. Andy Baker's Garage Gym Warrior. Worked well for me a few years ago - it is very reasonably laid out. Perfect for an old guy like me.

    11/3/21

    Curls - 3 sets
    LTEs - 3 sets
    20 pullups (4 sets of 5)
    Treadmill - 24 minutes

    11/4/21
    ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

    Today:
    SSB squat w/belt - 385 x 3r x 7s
    Bench - 280 x 3r x 7s

I think I'll start GGW Monday. Just trying to keep in shape until then...

    Today: Press and DL
    Press w/belt - 175 x 4r x 5s
    DL w/belt - 365 x 4r x 8s First 4 sets med snatch grip, last 4 sets normal Dl grip

I put on my W/L shoes after the first deadlift set. I think I pull better in WL shoes for some reason.
