    Haven't done power snatches in long time as they're not friendly to my shoulders. I kept the weight light and narrowed my grip to inside the rings (like a wide power clean grip). Everything felt okay but I did scrape the hell out of my shin with the bar on one rep. I'm sure everyone here who has lifted a barbell off the floor has done that from time to time LOL.

    I'm a bit untrained for these 500 meter sprints. The 5K was intended as a warm up, which worked since I knocked about 3.4 seconds off my time from the last time I did this a few days ago. My best in my mid 50s was an even 1:30. Like last time, the effort I put into this ruined me for any meaningful lifting afterward...I'll get some barbell work in tomorrow.

    Thanks Paul. I rarely venture into the 500+ zone. I was just feeling good plus I was well caffeinated!
