When you walk into a place called "Old Skool Iron", you know what you are getting! First time using a competition bench--made the self-unrack easy (210x5x3). Got the rack pulls done as well (410x5). Great gym, great members!

Hoping to get back on track after recent irregular schedule. I had been trying to keep up intensity so that I didn't go backward, but press probably has for lack of sufficient practice.
Only two workouts in a week is not what I call getting "back on track." Did manage the rack pulls (415x5) and also the self-unrack bench (212x5x3) yesterday.
Pin press at 159x5, then I was going to squat. I worked up to the double at 335 that I planned (heavy, but fine), but then a pop on the second rep of the back-off sets at 290. Seems not too bad--rehab tomorrow.
Maybe a little discoloration. When it happened last time, it took a day or two to show bruising. Walking around and slept O.K. Today for rehab, first did overhead press, 145x3x2. Heavy but fine. Rehab squat:
45x20
70x20
95x20
Was going to do 85% deadlift, but really feeling a pull on the injury on the 315 warmup single, so left it there. More rehab tomorrow.
Project Self-unrack on the bench continues, went O.K. (214x5x3). Rehab squat:
45x20
75x20
105x20
Soreness doesn't seem too bad. Hopefully this doesn't turn out to be a big deal.
