    100x5
    Bench

Had a nasty nightmare last night and also a lot of pain in shoulders. Didn’t believe I could do a five rep.
    So all good!

    Tuesday
    Squat
    100kgx3
    75x5x2
Form was a little off hip on 100k. I need to focus better or do one more squatsession a week. It’s easier to go for focus and maybe start to film myself.
    Bench
    73x2,3
    63x5x2
Raised 1 kg since last week. Feel good.
Now there is ads for vaccin shots. I probably do a Covid and the usual flu shot. It works for me, no problem with side effects and it’s free for geezers.

DL was gruesome, I got totaly winded. My plan was to train yesterday on Saturday, but my recovery was so bad, having muscle soreness in back and legs, with very low energy for three days. Must be age related, I suppose. It was good I waited one more day.

I feel at my age that doing just a little to much can hit hard. On Friday even though I lowered the weights I had been using I upped the reps and did more sets. On Saturday I felt "out of it".No pain or soreness just really tired. I got to face the facts I can't do what I used to do.

Jerry I think it's the higher reps that do it. When I do a lighter weight day I try to hold the reps down. With me it's an old man thing.

True, it’s like the poem from Rollins, you can trust the iron, 200 pounds is always 200 pounds. It never lies to you, it’s just that we have a tendency to disrespect age. Sometimes I need to say age doesn’t lie to you……..

Me to, somebody, Ithink it’s Sullivan says, we are intensity dependent and volume sensitive. I think like Fred do fewer reps on light day but keep the intensity up, never back down on the weight on the bar, just lower the number of reps.
