I was chatting with a guy and complaining that there aren't enough squat racks at this gym. Some guy overheard us and jumped in, with an annoyed tone saying leg presses are just like squats except better and more useful. I didn't respond.
Well what a day. I'm alternating the use of a bench with another dude whose towel is the size of a napkin. He thinks it's better use under his butt than under his sweaty AF hair. So gross. I think I will burn my towel after this. Bet he gave every one at the gym AIDS.
.. . . this guy again. He's up to 425 now. He's not even shrugging, not even a mm.

He's like a fucking ski-jumper.

(if you're wondering about my bar being all crooked . . . . trying to get square-on-side-view with some RDLs so I can see what the hell my back is doing . . .)

and, more irony: When I see people leg pressing, they quickly find out putting their feet up towards the top of the push plate, is more comfortable, and can do moar weight.
So that seems to be the goto form/set-up.
this uses moar ass, and less knees . . .which, is sorta analogous to low bar squatting.
