    That was my first thought. At the old Snap fitness I used to frequent occasionally the DBs only went up to 45kg, (100lbs) and a common workaround was to just hang smaller plates from the DBs with the use of wrist wraps

    Scrape The Rack For Growth | T Nation

    Saw a guy on his knees pressing a bar against a rack with a trainer supervising yesterday at the gym. I laughed to myself. Happen to be on tnation today and of course, it's a thing.

    I thought he was better than that... Also doing these with eleiko bars and plates. I'm not an expert when it comes to equipment but I'm afraid it doesn't do any good when it comes to its longevity...

    Obvious guess is that video is shown out of context. I.e. he just finished 2 hours of lat/biceps exercises to failure.

    I was going to say that maybe he's in a bulking phase and 50-60 pounds heavy, but with that much muscle, he should be able to do at least 1 pull-up.
