Saw someone bring two extremely thick sponges (like for washing dishes) today and use them as cushions for his suicide grip half benches. Feet up on the bench too.
Working out this morning, and saw this guy who has been there each time I am. I'm not sure exactly what he is doing, but it involves doing curls, doing a march around the open area, hitting the lat pull down machine, and then incline bench pressing. Of course, this is so important that he needs it all set up for him and no one else can use them while he is doing this bs. So today, after I finish my squats and head over to the bench, he goes over to the squat rack. I figure this ought to be good, so I kind of wait to get started on my worksets, just to see what would come about. Meanwhile he must know I'm watching, because he's seen me squat every time I'm there, and he isn't moving. Oh well, so I just start lifting. Of course he is doing several reps. 135 at about 1/2 ROM. But it's ok because then he heads straight for the leg extension machine and then the hamstring machine(have no idea what they call it). You can just tell this guy got some idiot's "program" but he adds enough with his grunts and march you almost don't feel sorry for him.
Of course there was mr 4 inch ROM leg press at 100 miles an hour, and then manpon quipped 1 foot ROM Smith Machine squat right after, but I did see a new one. After curling some fixed weight BBs, this guy took dumbbells and was throwing punches with them? Is that some MMA badass initiation or something? He had a UNC hoops jersey on, not Tapout gear, but....
