Also, a dude came in with a spray-tan. I think he lost a bet though because all his boys were hootin'n'hollerin' and he looked pretty damn embarrassed (couldn't tell if he was blushing though). That shit looks awful and immediately phony.
There is a saying amongst weightlifting circles, " you are not strong till you can front squat 3xBW " and based on the fact that many people have jerked 3xbw, some people OVER. I think it pretty accurate.

I haven't been around for a while, but I remember thinking pound-for-pound you were at least one of the top 10 lifters that I'd seen here. I have no doubt that 2xBW is doable. I was trying to get into the head of the guy a page back saying 4 plates was impossible.

could be wrong (it has happened before) but if you are referring to my earlier comments I think I was getting at the comment posted earlier that 400lb squats were achievable within 3 (6) months of starting. I personally think that that kind of weight is well beyond most people and would take a lot of work to get to (if they ever do it). I think I added that the biggest squat I have personally seen was 200kg (440lb) which is exactly 4 plates each side...
Personally I think I may get to 3 plates each side which is not quite 2xBW..for me 2xBW would be 375lb...3 plates and 1/2 each side.
Now my ego takes over and I say I would like to get the 3 plates before the end of PL...so maybe I am entirely wrong and personally, maybe just, maybe I will get to 4 plates one day, but i know that will be well into the future (if ever), but as someone else alluded to, you gotta have goals =)
