That's one way to teach "knees out."

Are front pin squats a thing?

Saw a dude front squatting a respectable 305 for reps to good depth. He left for a while then when he came back loaded 545lbs on the bar, thought about it, added a pair of 5s for the triple nickel, then set the safeties one hole below the hooks, unracked, and did like 6" front squats, dropping the bar on the safety bars after each rep.

He did probably 6 singles, unloaded the bar, ran to the leg press and loaded it with 10 plates on each side. Then he looked panicked b/c there was nowhere to put ONE MORE PLATE so he leaned it on the sled, and went to work. I think he was probably getting half reps if that but he did several. Then added a plate and lather rinse repeat.

But if front pin squats are a thing I don't want to make fun of him.

Saw a guy bench pressing 315# on the Smith Machine. Once the bar got about 4-6 inches of his chest, he would flick the safety on and then back off real quick and bounce the bar back upwards for the lock out. Pretty impressive timing and wrist dexterity. Clearly, he had this act down to a science.

I'm here benching LMAO2PLAYT and a guy asks me for a spot...

    In the decline bench...

    On the Smith machine...

And does 6 2" ROM reps from the chest, failing on the third rep and needing my bro rowing to cheat his way out of the rest...

    With LMAO2PLAYT.

They are a thing. I saw my coach teach it to someone.
