    Default Leather Wrist Wraps

    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    Anyone ever tried leather wrist wraps? I see Risto used to sell them but they've gone out of business.

    I've seen Chinese weightlifters with them and think they'd be worth trying out at some point. Thoughts?

    *Wraps NOT straps.

    Sorry, I've never tried leather wrist wraps.

    I like them for weightlifting. I used the single-ply for about a year and the double-ply for about two years of training. They offer far less support than an elastic strap but come with the benefit of not needing much adjustment between sets. They also look badass. If support is the primary objective, these are not the way to go. If you only need a little support and are looking for a way to decrease in training hassle (and want to feel like Hercules), go for it.
