I have the distinct impression that Burgener doesn't get shit like this; you know, the other name on the bar.

Please, we can all do better with more ownership and less sarcasm. I‘m apathetic as to what type of “rotten sob” you may be. My only interest in you is starting strength. I’m simply a fellow looking for solid, old-school, American made strength equipment from small companies. I’m certainly someone that prefers not to discover the man behind his personally branded barbells believes them inferior after the fact. However, in the end that’s my fault for not investigating more thoroughly.

Coach, looking for an all purpose bar myself (don't have the funds for 2 or 3 just yet), I was looking at the SS bar or the B&R 2.0. Either a solid choice, or is one recommended?

I don't see why you're so upset about Mark giving his honest evaluation of the bar. If he kept using them to make his new bars despite the uncorrected issues you'd have a point.

Did he hurt your barbell's feelings? The bars have already been made 8 years ago flaws and all. I'd be as upset as you if he was doing the opposite and pretending they were perfect.
