Thank you everyone, the 2.5 plate isn't quite right at the gym I'm at but I'll look into the wedges suggested

Dominion, who also make the Starting Strength belt, sell a wedge made of scrap leather pieces I believe. Leather looks badass and ages well, so it gets bonus points.

Yeh I saw that after I bought the belt. Stupid me I should've looked properly at their other products! I have the dominion belt on order but its already shipped. There stuff looks excellent quality. Sadly it cost 62 usd to send the wedges on their own to the UK. I think I'll probably grab the rogue ones. Thanks everyone.

Weird the rogue one is out of stock but I just found a dominion one on amazon for only five pounds shipping. Ordered!

I’ve used the belt itself a few times.

I'm definitely going to buy one of these the next time I buy a belt. These look nice.

We bought a pair of 'em when I bought my belt. They are a nice bit of kit, as expected from Dominion. The jacks serve a dual purpose for us - 1) the standard jack, and 2) they protect the bottom rack frame. Should a bar get dropped while unloaded the last plate, the jack protects both the bar knurling and the finish on the rack. Plus, it covers the dings on the rack from before discovering this use.
