    Hello guys,
I want to add few holes to my belt.
    I found these punches

    Would they do the job?
Also I want to dye the belt can you suggest how to do it?

    Thanks.

Sure, but you don't need a set. For one time work, taking it to a shop can be simpler and cheaper.

Look up dyes and how to do it depending on your surface. Again, going to a shop may be the best way to get these things done.

Agree with Stef. These punches are useful when you use them constantly.

Ask yourself how often you will do these punches.

It's not really worth it if you will do maybe 5 in your lifetime, and it would cost $10 to have it done by a pro, and the cost of the kit is say $50.

Remember that if you are learning a skill, you are likely to mess up a few times. Although honestly even experts mess up frequently, and even if you pay a premium price, you might receive terrible service.

So all in all, my suggestion to you is perhaps get it done by a pro, until you think you will repeatedly and often do such modifications. If and when that happens, then buy 1-3 kits and spend hours and hours crafting that skill.

Those are the two paths I see. Now, go forward and stay without masters or tyrants.
