Ever notice how fast time goes by except during the last ten seconds of microwaving?

    Monday (194.5) (#1)
    Power Cleans
    5x2x135 (2 minute clock)
    Squats
3x5x255, 8x225 (time shared the rack with 4 other dudes)

    Took < 50 minutes

So, I get to the gym and make a dash for the open squat rack where I start warming up. 3 younger guys and their dad show up and start kind of hanging around the rack. I Try make eye contact and say "hey" (cause it never bothers me to share the equipment) and get no reaction. I start cleaning and after a couple of sets the older dude walks by the rack looking at one of his kids, not more than 3 feet from me and asks "is that the same guy? The kid looks at me and says "yeah". So I finish my power cleans and put the bar back on the hooks and asked one of the kids if they were waiting on the rack... Kid says "yeah we want to squat". So I say, "work in with me".
Why don't people just talk to you?
Of course they proceeded with some pretty awful squatting ... Really didn't slow me down , though.

Did they start trying to walk on 3 paws, then 2?

That's the act. I guess I would walk funny if I had to walk on packed ice and snow barefoot.

Heh, I looked out the front door of our little weight room today and one of my dogs was sitting in the drivers seat, the other in the passenger seat.

When I got done and got back in the truck, I told 'em "sucks to not have thumbs so you can't start it, huh"? Heh! I think they were planning a getaway...
