    Saturday

Some days you just have to help someone intent on building a deck out of surplus pallets and earth. Like yesterday. And last Monday. And other stuff too, like farmers walks with 50lb bags of rocks.
I may not get anything productive done today but I'll see what I can pick up tomorrow. My back is pretty sore so squatting may get skipped. I should at least do bench and chins tomorrow, maybe I'll do a bit of conditioning as well (this could possibly happen today).

    Peace and Love!

    Sunday (200)
    Bench
    3x5x203
    Chin/Pull Ups
    7,7,7,7
    Heavy Bag
The usual routine for 6 rounds

It's finally getting warm here so I started at the Y and finished with the heavy bag in the garage.

I really like using gym boss to signal the rounds... I forget where I'm at and I'm always further along than I think when I check the rounds remaining.

    Groin is a problem ...
I have to be very careful with my squat volume or my right groin gets flared up.

I hope it's not a chronic thing. I had it before, but it always went away pretty quickly. This time it seems to be hanging around.

    Monday (197.5 wut?)
    Treadmill Incline Intervals
    2@8.5 mph and 5%
    3@9.0 mph and 10.5%

    2 minute HRR 171-136

I'm giving myself a break on these. My heart rate doesn't seem to be recovering between intervals as well as it has been. I thought maybe it was hydration, but today iwas pretty super hydrated. So now I think it's just the stress of job hunting and life.

Thanks! It was a good day. These logs are interesting when it comes to tracking life events and whatever markers you keep track of.

Monday, the week I lost my job I weighed 203
My last weigh in was 197, without trying to lose any weight at all.
HR recovery issues have also shown up. I kind of expected the weight loss to make conditioning easier but it didn't, at least not enough to offset whatever else the body is doing to combat stress.

Other than that training has been going ok except I feel like I'm going to be missing reps in my bench and press soon, and the weight loss is not coming at a good time.
