The quarter mile felt easy.
Spent a Wednesday and Thursday afternoon and evening with my Daughter in Law who was admitted to the hospital with tachycardia (230 bpm is what I was told).
Took it easy today since it’s been 2 full weeks since I lifted. I’m headed to California tomorrow for a week. I hope to lift at least once and do a little work on a track at what used to be my high school (Campbell High).

I’m not used to pacing myself on a track and left a little in the tank on both of these runs. Especially on the first lap of the 800 meter run.

So, had terrible runners knee after that tiny bit of track work and never made it to the gym when I was in California. I was cringing when I had to walk down stairs for a couple of days. It seems to be getting a lot better... just some mild pain today.
I have an ice pack on now.
