My hip and knee felt off while in California...skipped plans to do a little track work. I think it’s a tight ITB so I’ve been working on it a bit.
Squatting felt ok, though it wasn’t much weight. Seems like I shouldn’t need to recover quite so much on my first recovery week.

It might be time to look for a new gym. I just found out about a rule against chalk, despite having asked directly whether it was allowed years ago, and using it there for the better part of 20 years. As Trump would say, sad.

I sent an email to the Y (don’t worry my wife made sure it wasn’t a rant) anout the chalk incident and made amends with the staff member who probably thought I was going to have him killed (by my reaction yesterday).

So, in addition to not getting along well with others, I've been using a TINS unit on my IT Band. Before that I had some deep tissue work done on that. The knee pain has completely cleared and the hip pain is barely noticeable. I'm still avoiding running or stair work for the time being.
