I’m thinking about these attempts for next week 1 rep tests:
Squat: 345
Bench: 225
Dead Lifts: 390
I don’t think that’s super aggressive for squats, but maybe is a bit for bench and DL. If successful, that will give me the rest of the year to add 40 lbs to get to 1k.
Maybe 155 for overhead press?
All will be game time decisions.
Previous 3 lift total: 890
Previous 4 lift total: 1035
These Lifts would put me at 960 and 1115.

Sometimes recovery week comes at a good time. I’m pretty sure I had some kind of sinus infection that presented as a toothache in a tooth with no roots. The dentist saw nothing but wanted to schedule the ripping of things from my skull anyway. Then, I suggested antibiotics which seem to have done the trick. I never felt more than a little pressure in my sinuses but it was kicking my arse in other ways... as in feeling half dead all week. Anyway, I feel good now, I hope it continues.

These went up pretty smooth and easy. Very excited about getting a little bit strong again.
I believe that’s 960 for my 3 lift total... about 100 shy of my lifetime best.
