I have to play the snowmageddon card one last time before summer... 8 inches of the wettest snow I’ve ever seen set me back a day. I will play the weekend by ear. I will probably lift on Saturday but it might be easy goings since that’s only two sleeps from now. I’m going out of town Sunday and Monday so I’ll get A3 done as I can and may end up taking an extra week to fit in recovery.
That snow storm was not good for the trees. I woke up Tuesday to the cracking sound of a big branch being ripped from its trunk. There was a bit of minor damage to a gutter, but nothing major.

I lost a bet after drinking a hefty margarita at a restaurant a little over half a mile from my house. The wife and daughter and law did a lemanz start to the car and drove home the back way through the neighborhood while I “ran” the more direct route home.
They beat me home, but I’m pretty sure they didn’t honor the no speeding rule.
Apparently I know nothing anymore about pacing myself.

I made it to work today, that was still a game time decision that could have gone either way. The goal is to make it to the gym tomorrow... no exact plan but I’ll probably squat a little and do a tiny bit of cardio.
I have slipped enough to bag this 9 week cycle and do a short ramp up (3-4 weeks) and begin a new one.
