    Front squat 3x3 105 kg (231lb).
    Press 3x3 50kg (110lb).

    Squat 160kg (352lb) 3reps, singles 165kg (363lb) + 170kg (374lb)
    Bench 95kg (209lb) 3reps, singles 100kg (220lb) + 102.5kg (225lb)
    Hang Cleans 5x3 57.5 kg (126lb)

    Volume day.

    Squat 5x5 140kg (308lb). Hard as hell. Will keep at this weight next week.
    Press 52.5kg (115lb). 5 5 5 4 3. Set 3 was too easy, may have been a push press on the last rep.
    Deadlift 1x5 157.5kg (346lb). Ok. Felt like going for a max, got 182.5kg (401lb) failed 190kg (418lb). May continue to try for a max on the dead on the last week before increasing weight on the squat.

    Light day- rushed through this in 45 mins.

    Front squat 3x3 105 kg (231lb).
    Bench 3x3 82.5kg (181lb).
    Chins BW+ 16.25kg (36lb) 5,5,3 + 6BW. Maybe deload a bit and work back up as failed to hit 3x5 for 3 weeks at this weight.

    Intensity day (aka day of fail).

    Squat 165kg (363lb) FAIL. 162.5kg (357lb) 3x2.
    Press 60kg (132lb) 3reps. 62.5kg (137lb) FAIL. 60kg 2reps.
    Hang Cleans 5x3 57.5 kg (126lb)

    Random thoughts on today.
    The squat weight was based on last weeks excellent workout and was over ambitious- should have started at 162.5kg. Recovery has been an issue this week, could have been the max deadlift on monday, lack of sleep (no more than 6 hours per night all week), been really busy all week especially today. Warmups were too deep and carried that over into the first rep and couldn't get out of the hole. Lost valsalva. Red mark on back left by the bar is a bit high (base of traps). Will look to rectify all this next week.
    Thoughts on press- I have a shitty press. Did improve 3 rep max from 2 weeks ago which was good. Can't get 62.5kg but will start on that in 2 weeks and see what happens.
    Hang cleans were good......although looking back think I was dipping under the bar to rack so not powering the bar high enough. Bugger.

    Squat 5x5 140kg (308lb). Same weight next week
    Bench 5x5 85kg (187lb). Just got the last rep. Will keep at this weight in 2 weeks.
    Deadlift 1x4 160kg (352lb). Was going for 5 reps but on finishing the 3rd the bar somehow ended 6" away so had to address the bar again which messed up my rythm. Only just managed the fourth rep. Will repeat next week.

    Clean practice 5x3ish 60kg (132lb).
    Chins 11,8,5.

    Chins 8 8 3.
    Dips 8 6 3. Both with 1 min rest, will increase to 2 mins next week to hopefully get 3x8.
    Wanting to add dips as an accessory for bench/press and as chins were taking a bit out of me on weds made sense to move them here as well. Deadlift will now be done Fri and will give greater opportunity to test max. Dips were really hard, last done 1 year (and 30lbs!) ago. Sure I did over 15 then so 8 today was a bit dissappointing. Some mobility/flexibility issues as well going below parallel.

    starting strength coach development program
    Light day.

    C&J (first time- just experimenting) incorporating one front squat did singles and doubles from 55kg in 2.5kg increments up to 67.5kg when it became a push press.
    Front squat 1x5 70kg. Was going to do another set at 75kg but left wrist felt a bit gnarly.
    Bench 2x5 75kg.
    Hang leg raises 3x10.
