Yay! This will be my first. I have NO idea what it's all about, other than lifting (hopefully) heavy things!

    March 7 2012

    all work sets:
Squat 205 x 5 x 4 PR (video screwed up so I did another set to look at depth)
    Bench 115 x 5 x 3 PR
Power Clean 100 x 3 x 5 (missed one, came right back to finish) MIGHT be a PR for weight, def a PR for reps.

Great day in the gym yesterday. My squat depth was all over the place, my grip on bench and clean was all wrong, and those cleans still suck ass. But I walked away feeling as though I had learned a lot.

Nice job Staci! We need to find you a training partner. Cleans are starting to come along- especially the later sets.

Your squat has tremendous room for growth.

    Thanks, mama.

In terms of the clean - I obviously need to do a LOT of work on them. How best to accomplish that without messing with the rest of my week? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get better at them (not suck) while still running the program?

I'll double that. Come over Brooklyn a couple of times already!

Michele and I agreed to hit Pine Bush, but I realized it's on my anniversary-- bummer. I hope to be on a beach somewhere that day, but if vacation plans get pushed back, maybe my wife will compete too...

You said you are at City Gym, right? Do you go to the one on 42nd street? That's right around the corner from my work.... Maybe we should do a session together? Our class doesn't start for another 2 weeks... Can you get a day pass there?

Your numbers are getting up there!

I found someone else willing to do Pine Bush, so for now I'm still in

But it would basically make my year if Bina would compete.
