    FMP 4-12 (reps/sets)

    Lo Bar Squat - 137.5kg 2x4
    Bench (paused) - 83.5kg 2x5
    Deadlift- 170kg 1x3

    Dumbbell Bench - 50lbs 10x4
    Pull Ups - +6kg 8x2
    Dips - +12kg 8x2

    Nothing left to do but get a massage tomorrow, and then cruise into the meet next Saturday.

    Mustache Mayhem on Saturday

    Squat - 110kg lb 2x2, hb 2x2

    Bench (paused) 85kg x1, 75kg 2x4

    Belt Squat - 40kg 10x2

    Tricep Pulldown - 15kg 10x2

    Coach threw a curve at me: unexpectedly really light Squats. Normal Bench; opening at 85kg most likely.

    Thanks gents. It's been physically relaxing, but I'm having issues with my mindset. Today I sat down with my coach to work on managing expectations. I seem to have gotten wayyyyy ahead of myself and have found myself looking at my "progress" as having been poor...beating myself up.

    I misheard my 3rd attempts the other day. Realistically they'll be: Sq 160 -162.5 / B 97.5 / DL 210 - 212.5.

    I'm OK with the Squat and Bench, and seeing how my Deadlift training has been suboptimal, I'm comfortable with 210/212.5.

    Lot's of mind fuckery on my part - I'll get things in perspective...

    The brain has a huge impact on our lifting--it's so much more than merely getting under (or over) the bar.
