Nice pulls--must have felt good to cap the week with those.

    Cycle Six Week One reps/sets

    LB Squat - 120kg 4*5

    Bench - 77.5kg 5*6

    Block Pulls - 180kg 8*4

Woke up with a wonky right rhomboid, made Squatz and Bench a bitch. The Block pulls were exhausting. This weeks work left me tired, though I felt good walking into the gym, rhomboid not withstanding.
Couldn't get the accessory work in...I'll shoot for tomorrow as it's almost all upper body work, shouldn't effect Monday's Squatz.

    Finish of SBD Saturday

    Incline Dumbbell Bench - 50lbs 12*3
    Goblet Squats - 60lbs 12*3
    Tri Pulldowns - 35kg 12*3
    Mid Rows - 130lbs 12*3
    Dips - 20lbs 10*3
    Hammer Curls - 45lbs 12*3

That's that. Hopefully it won't screw up tomorrow...

All that done on one day would seem to take pretty long. Hopefully it will be getting cooler soon, although I believe this week a heat wave is expected.

It wouldn't be the US Open Tennis without nasty heat and humidity. We're warm and humid at the moment, but it should break by Wednesday. I'm reasonably acclimated by now, so sleep hasn't been an issue.

    Cycle Six Week Two reps/sets

    LB Squat - 137.5kg *4, 122.5kg 4*3
    HB Tempo Squat - 100kg 5*5
    Belt Squat - 80kg 10*3

    BSS - 24kg 10*3
    Back Ext - 25kg 10*3
    Cable Mid Row - 60kg 10*3

Another outstanding session. Had more reps in the tank..who knew? Coach wants 145kg next week, I'm ready.

    Cycle Six Week Two reps/sets

    Bench - 90kg *3, 82.5kg 5*4
    Wide Grip Bench - 75kg 8*3

    Tri Pulldowns - 35kg 10*3
    Kroc Rows - 32kg 10*3
    Dips - 12kg 10*3
Face Pulls - green band 20*3

The heat and humidity got me. I had nothing in terms of "pop" to my movements. That said, if I can do all this on a bad day, I'm good to go.
We're working the Bench at 90kg for top sets through next session, but bumping the back off work. The last week of the cycle we'll go to 92.5kg for the top set and do the back off work at 87.5kg.

That should be interesting and just a huge PR on the Bench, leaving me in great shape to take a run at 100kg!

    Cycle Six Week Two reps/sets

    Deadlift - 190kg *3, 175kg 5*3
    Block Pulls - 190kg 5*4

My rhomboid and SI joint are very cranky. I almost passed on today, I was so uncomfortable. But, what are you gonna do - not train?

It was extremely hard to get tight, painful to take a deep breath. That said, I got three of four reps at 190kg. Add to that, all the requisit accessory work. Block Pulls were hard to lockout with a cranky SI joint. I call it a good session, done under duress.

I've scheduled a session with the gym's physio tomorrow afternoon. I could use a little body work.
