Oooh HOAs, I'd be in jail if I had to deal with them. Yardwork absolutely messes with my recovery. Can't eat in a timely fashion, wrecks my lower back, and my hands get blistered in all the wrong places (even with good, deadlift calloused hands).

We had our driveway replaced along with attendent drainage tiles, so our front yard looks like a warzone. My neighbor, who just moved in last year, is a bit "finicky". He wants to know when we'll be repairing all the damage so that we "don't lower his property values"!

Seeing as the concrete was a bad poor, and has to be ripped out and re-done. He's gonna have kittens when he hears that the landscaping might not get done 'till spring.

Your neighbor sounds like a dick like mine. I have 2 new cars,a Buick and a Hyundai, nothing special. One day as,he walked by he said to me "living the good life". I haven't talked to him since.

    Cycle Six Week Four reps/sets

    LB Squat - 152.5kg *3, 137.5kg 4*3
    HB Tempo Squat - 110kg 5*4

    Belt Squat - 95kg 10*4
    BBS - 36kg 8*3

    That's that!

Missed the top set by one, but it wasn't due to being weak. The bad slipped down my back on the third rep. Depth was good, and the reps were speedy. It's also just 2.5kg off my competition and to boot.

We'll start the run in to Raw Natls next week.

Excellent squats! You'll be in great shape for Spokane--hard to believe we'll be up there one month from today.

    Cycle Six Week Four reps/sets

    Bench - 92.5kg *3 PR, 87.5kg *5,*4,*4,*3,*2
    Wide Grip Bench - 80kg *4, *5, *5
    2 Board Bench - 77.5kg 5*3

    LTE - 45kg 5*3
    Kroc Rows - 80kg 10*3
    Tricep Pulldowns - 30kg 8*3

Another session oh so close to perfection (for me). Looked for four on the top set, and just missed it due to rushing the last rep. A technical issue, not a strength issue. We can work with/on that in the time remaining. Three reps is a PR at 92.5kg!

Heavy backoff work, as evidenced by the declining reps acheived.

Big day tomorrow, Deads at 197.5kg...we want four, we want four, we want four. Let's go Buffalo!!!

    Cycle Six Week Four reps/sets

    Deadlift - 197.5kg *4, 175kg 4*3

    Block Pulls - 185 / 195 / 200kg *5

    Hammer Curls - 60lbs 12*3

Fabulous session, and I'm spent. The top set was easy for the first three reps, tight and fast. I let my guard down on the fourth and had to grinnnnnd it out, but I got it.

Back off work was taxing, especially the last set of Block Pulls at 200kg.

Truth be told, I think the heavier Block Pulls over the last few sessions helped me immensely today.

Some sort of de-load is up coming, and then peaking.

    Cycle Six Week Four reps/sets

    LB Squat - 130kg 4*4
    Bench - 80kg 5*4
    RDL - 120kg 8*4
    Belt Squat - 80kg 10*4

All the work and fatigue of this past cycle landed on top of me today.

This was all I could do...

Hopefully we can get the rest of the work in tomorrow.

Boy am I ready for that de-load.

I think that squat volume would be tough for me even on a good day. Enjoy your de-load!
