    Not a lot of sleep last night, and I payed for it today. The sets weren't hard, just taxing aerobically. Well, the sets were a little hard...

    The f'n Sled Pushes killed me though. I definitely bonked after the third push.

    Another strong session in the books. 3 months past radiation treatments, and two months back in the gym. I'm just now starting to feel "normal". Not back to optimal, but we're on the right path.

    No scheduled training today, the gym is closed...

    So that we can move into a new, 2.5x bigger space. Took a group of us about 6+ hours to move everything: racks, bars, plates, kettlebells, dumbbells. All the Oly equipment was moved during the week, but ALL the powerlifting gear needed to go today.

    I moved so many 25kg, and 45 lbs plates today. Holy cow I'm tired...

    My fingers, and forearms are gonna be lit up tomorrow.

    Had to face a brutal truth AGAIN, my Squats are not to depth (even with a box).

    I put a couple of reps on video for the first time since March...FML.

    As a gym we've been under an edict to not post any "in gym" activities, so as not to bring down the wrath of competitors or the state.

    So I put away my phone and was relying on other folks to "keep me honest" regarding depth. It seems that everyone was being "kind" as I come back from the cancer shit.

    I told my coach to be brutally honest on every rep from here on out.

    As it was, I set up a box about two inches lower than "normal", and that got me to a passable depth. Had to take some kgs of the bar, but that's life at the moment. My hips are extremely tight, and my bad knee is cranky. I'm not gonna lose to much sleep over the issue. I've hit proper depth before, I can do it again.

    That said it was disappointing to see how poorly I was performing...and at such light weights too.

    It didn't help things that the new space is not set up for HVAC yet. OMG was it hot, and soooo humid. Sure hope the HVAC guys come in next week as promised!
