Nice work. What kind of shoes did you get?

Lots of great work, Bd. You're going to get used to the shoes quickly, and I'll bet you see a difference.

I purchased the Adidas Powerlift II on Amazon. Got a sweet deal on a pair of all black for $79.00. The more outrageous colors were almost twice the price - so I cheaped out with all black.

I felt like I was forward all night. I had to work hard to sit back. They are comfortable though.

I felt the same way the first few times I squatted in Adipowers, which is weird because they have the same heel height as my VS Athletics.

    Deadlift -
    137.5lbs 3x5, 227.5lbs x5, 317.5lbs x4, 347.5lbs x3, 367.5lbs x2, 392.5lbs X
Dayyyyum...Got stuck just below the knees and started the "wobbles". Must admit I was feeling slugggish going into today's session, but I should have had it. Might have been the shoes.

    365lbs 3x1
Three singles just for the work.

    332.5lbs x6
    That's all there was.

    BSS -
    bw, +20lbs, +30lbs, +40lbs, +60lbs x10
    Good single leg work

Neutral Grip Chins / Dips -
    bw 3x15

A little disappointing, call the session a "B".

That session would only be "disappointing" if you were 25 years old with 3 years of training under your belt. Well done. And the shoes do make a difference up front, but you'll adapt to them quickly.

Just a wee bit off today. A shame I couldn't follow up on last session's momentum.

    142.5lbs 5x1
Wanted doubles, had to settle for singles

    132.5lbs 3x3

    122.5lbs x5, x4, x3, x2, x1
    Running out of gas

    Neutral Grip Chins -

And that's all she wrote: grade "C"
