Thanks Scotty - it's good to stimulate the ol' 'nads once in a while when your 60+...

    Bench -
    eb 3x10, 95lbs x5, 135lbs x5, 170lbs x4, 190lbs x3, 200lbs X
Messed around with the warm-up weights and paid for it. That, on top of a bad nights sleep had me in the wrong frame of mind for what was to come next.

    Bench from the Pins -
Was supposed to be 190 for two and that was a no go based on the warm-up. So:
    175lbs x2
Was supposed to be for three

    172.5lbs x2
Thought three might work here - nope

    (170lbs x3)x5
These got easier as I went along. The third reps of the first two sets were a struggle.

    Bench -

    (190lbs x1)x5
    Singles for penance.

    (135lbs x10)x3

    Barbell Rows -
    (135lbs x10)x3
A change-up from chest supported dumbbell rows - the lower back issue seems to be resolved, so why not.

    SBC -
    eb 40, x30, x30 - 30 seconds rest between sets

I hope making things up "on the fly" isn't wussing out - some good work at slightly lighter weights isn't a waste...is it?

    Deadlift -
    (135lbs x5)x4, 225lbs x5, 315lbs x3, 345lbs x2, 365lbs x1, 385lbs x1
    Nice warm-up, 385lbs was smooth.

    375lbs x5
    Solid

    330lbs x7
    Because I don't do 335lbs, I did 7 at 330.

    295lbs x10
    Finishing work.

    BSS -
    bw x10, 50lbs x10, 90lbs x7, (110lbs x5)x3
    Slow, but no issues.

    SBC -
    95lbs x10, 115lbs x7, (125lbs x7)x3

    LTE -
    65lbs x10, 85lbs x7, (105lbs x5)x3

Good session, call it an "A".

    Press -
    eb 3x10, 95lbs x5, 115lbs x5, 125lbs x4, 135lbs x2, 145lbs X
    Everything felt heavy, too heavy...

    122.5lbs x5, x4
    Just no energy

Callin' it a day and heading over to the squash courts.

Good grief, I wore a hole in the heel of my racquet hand. I guess I've been off the court for longer than I thought. Hopefully this blister will heal quickly as the season's about to start.

Coming back tomorrow to redo the Press session.

Shaping up to be a better day...

    (122.5lbs x6)x5
That seventh rep is so f'n elusive.

    (142.5lbs x1)x5
Solid singles, hard work from the top of the head to lockout - should pay some dividends down the road.

    Dumbbell Curls -
    Hammer Grip (25lbs x30)x3

    LTE -
    50lbs x30, x30, x20
    Fried tri's

    Squat -
    eb 4x5. 95lbs x5, 135lbs x5, 185lbs x4, 225lbs x3, 255lbs x2, 275lbs x1, 295lbs X
    F'n gravity...

    (245lbs x5)x5
    Volume...

    Barbell Rows -
    (145lbs x10)x5
    Working my way back

    Pull-Ups -
    (bw x5)x5 on the minute.

The club has finally put the equipment issue to bed. We've received the two B&R bars - they're wonderful. The Rogue 390f Flat Foot Monster rack is on order as is a new flat bench. I'm gratified they came to their senses, short of having bumpers, we've got a pretty good set-up now.

As to today's session, call it a "B+".

Way tougher warm-up than it should have been.

Supposed to be Benching from the pins, but lifts at 175lbs were good for one when it should have been for three.

Need to re-think things. There has been some progress on some lifts and none on others. Clearly I'm not able to program myself properly. Hopefully Andy and Sully get their baby to the printer soon. In the meantime I've got to get a better structure to my training. My best success was using 5/3/1 and that safe harbor is where I'm going back to. Soooo...working off my most recent sets of 5 and taking 90% of that

    5's
    160lbs x7

    BBB
    120lbs 5x10

    Pull-Ups
    bw 5x6 on the minute

    Dumbbell Curls -
    30lbs 5x20

Hell of a lot shorter session than what I'm used to. Well I'm just gonna keep my head down for the next two months, work smart/hard and see what comes of it.
