    Cycle 2

    Deadlift - 160kg 5*3
    Wagonwheel Deads - 140kg 5*4
    Bench - 71kg 8*3
    Press - 51.5kg 4*3

Forgot my pre-workout, and I thought I was cooked. The day turned out OK in spite of it. Got more done than last Saturday...yay me!

Nice jump from last week's deadlift, and a good amount of volume!

    #kickcancerinthedick reps/sets

    Cycle 3

    HBS paused - 90kg 5*5
    Tempo SBS - 70kg 6*4
    Goblet Squats - 20kg 15*4

    Sled pushes - 60kg 4 d&b
    Cable Flys #4 10*4

So we've switched up our focus (on Austin's advice). As I'm having issues with my strength regressing due to the cancer treatments, we're trying new/novel movements that I can't measure against competition lifts. Mission accomplished as I have no idea how to correlate today's work to a competition Squat.

Anything to keep me out of my head for the next few months.

    Additionally, it was fun.

    Cycle 3

    Spoto Bench - 65kg 5*5
    Close Grip Bench - 55kg 10*3
    Tempo HBS - 85kg 5*5

    Dumbbell Bench - 50llbs 10*4
    Chins - bw 8*4
    Kroc Rows - 70lbs 10*4

Trying to do more on Bench day, as it's not a "stressful" as Squat and Dead days.

Everyone in the gym is either competing this weekend at a local meet, or peaking for The Arnold. I feel "left out" of the fun. Everyone is being really supportive about me not being able to get on the platform. It's like being a racehorse that just been scratched from a race, standing in the stall and hearing the starters bell go off. I'm ready to run, but I can't.

    Cycle 3

    RDLs - 140kg 8*3
    Deficit Deads - 120kg 5*3
    Wide Grip Larsen Bench - 70kg 6*4
    Press - 49kg 5*5

Would have liked to have waited another day before training, but the gym is closed Friday afternoon, and all day Saturday and Sunday for Mustache Mayhem: Weightlifting / Powerlifting / SuperTotal

Gonna watch both days to support teammates and my former training partner who's gone to the dark side (weightlifting).

    Cycle 3

    HB Paused Squat - 95kg 5*5
    Tempo SBS - 75kg 6*4
    Goblet Squat - 24kg 15*4

    Sledding - 75kg *4 up and backs
    Cable Flys - #5 10*4

Not bad for being off for 5 days...didn't think it was that long until I looked at my log book. Mustache Mayhem was a rousing success, even if I couldn't compete.

Fvcking Sled pushes really blow. I'm definitely not in aerobic shape these days.

I came down with a bug middle of last week that has cut the legs out from under me. Today was the first day back, and it was a struggle.

I had to keep repeating the mantra of training while being treated for cancer: do what you can, with what you have, on that particular day.

Still, it's very hard mentally to be giving up so much ground.

Radiation treatments start tomorrow: 28 days / 5+ weeks

    Lord give me strength!

Well, two days into radiation treatments...and it's kicking my ass already. I was not ready for this level of fatigue, HOLY SHIT.

Numbers mean nothing now. The mantra is #anyrepsaregoodreps
