Starting Texas Method after doing SS for about half a year. Plagued by back and knee pain. Sometimes better, sometimes worse. 37 years old, 118 kg, 1.80 m. All units are SI.

Still fucked up from doing deadlifts on Tuesday. I'm still not sure if I'll do them on volume or intensity day.
Also, convinced my stepdaughter to start SS, instead of doing some program with miriad machine exercises. Starting only with the olympic bar. Let's see how it goes.

Squatting a little bit deeper helped with hip pain, and it also felt easier. Bench press was much easier than last time, but right now I'm feeling some elbow pain. Skipped one day because of a back tweak which was promptly solved by the Mrs. Recovering from volume day was HARD, I only felt fresh today.

Did some scapular mobility exercises prescribed by the Mrs. two days ago due to shoulder pain. Hip stretches seem to help with the discomfort I've been feeling, too. Everything was moderately easy, but I guess I'll wait until there's a bigger difference between intensity and volume days before increasing the weights. Probably won't be feeling so good tomorrow.

Dealing for the last three days with loveliest case of DOMS I've ever felt in my hamstrings, it's probably related to the back extensions. It really sucked to be on call yesterday, when the best I was able to do was walk like Robocop. Gave up on doing the recovery day workout today and just tried to eat and sleep properly.
SERVE THE PUBLIC TRUST. PROTECT THE INNOCENT. UPHOLD THE LAW.

- Stopped walking like Robocop yesterday. Legs stopped aching this morning. Shit.
- I'll increase the deadlift by 4kg on intensity days to see if I can catch up the squat. I'm not sure if this will work -- squats didn't feel so heavy, whilst last rep of deadlift was a bitch. Pretty sure I'm squatting below parallel.
- Really pissed off because I didn't get the last press. I think I wasn't setting up tight enough.
