I should've lowered the bar under control. Dropping heavy deadlifts is a bad habit from my CF days. Oh well! Still happy about the lift. This is a 90# PR from about 14 months ago; 30# PR from about 3 months ago.

During my first set at 230, after the 5th rep, I inhaled chalk dust (or something) and began sputtering and gagging. Fortunately, racked the weight before finsihing hacking up a lung or two. I was sure I had a set of 10 in me, but went back and hit a set of 8. I am wondering if on the presses I need to up the volume during my 5's week (maybe two sets at 5+).... I know... I know... stick with the program....but ... Volume!
Power Cleans
Worked up to 205x3x5* Easy. I don't think I have ever taken a linear increase in the PC beyond 210, so looking hopefully for some new progress on these in the coming weeks.
