Thanks Ben! It took a couple of weeks with mediocre results, but I've been fairly consistent since then. I take a large chunk with my lunch every day. Sourdough + black coffee is a tasty mid-morning snack.

    Bro work and skipped deads.

    Bench Press: 136x5, 185x3, 230x12, 240x8

    Dips: (+25)x12, (+35)x8

    Roman chair sit-ups: (+20)x20, (+30)x10

    X-wife pull-ups: 5, (+10)x3

    Upright rows: 100x12, 110x7

    Curls: 115x8, 165xF, 135x3

    Time: 56 minutes
    BW: NM

This was an okay session - it would have been much better if I had had motivation for deadlifting. I didn't, so I skipped them today. This morning was spent running through the woods on a nature trail with my dog and little ones. Whatevs - next week will be better.

I did some reading into it after I read your post. We have pizza night once a fortnight, but we normally use wraps as bases. I've convinced the wife to let me have a go at baking our own when we use the last of the wraps in the freezer. Winning! Probably won't try sourdough first up though.

There are quite a few decent recipes around. If you've made yeasted sweet breads, you'll do fine. Kneading by hand takes a few attempts to learn the texture, but each time gets better. Kneading can also be done with a stand mixer.

    I'm proud.
After one session, I can say that they are fun. The DOMS from that session was pretty awful, but not squatting is awful too. My plan for a little while is to do a set of paused squats and then drop a hundred pounds and do a set of 20.

I was in the verge of doing some shirtless curls while wearing dad shorts as a tribute yesterday, but not enough motivation. Sad!

    Early morning session.

    Rowing machine: 7879m in 32:00, 5 min cooldown (1107m)

This was an okay session. I didn't go as fast as I wanted, but then again, other hard sessions are usually done after being awake and caffeinated. Next week will also be an early morning session, so at least I have a baseline from this week.

    A packed house ...

    Incline Bench: 95x5, 135x3, 185x2, 215x8, 225x4; PR - 8RM

    Lay Pulldowns: 185x15, 200x10

    DB Military Press: 35s x 5, 60s x 12, 70s x 4

DB Pullovers: 95x12, 105x6* (* done with EZ curl bar)

    Paused squats: 135x5, 225x3, 275x3, 335x5, 355x5 (335 & 355 belted)

    Squats, raw: 235x20

    Decline sit-ups: (+20)x12, (+30)x8

    Time: 68 minutes
    BW: 263.5lb

It was a packed house in the gym today. The network is down at work and it was raining out. So everyone decided to get a pump today, resulting in a longer-than-anticipated session.

Paused squats are interesting. There was a big mental component prior to the first set, but then I realize that I'm strong enough to do it. 355 was easier than 335, likely for this reason. The set of 20 felt great.

Will next week be better? Very likely.
