Doing some good things nonetheless.
Curls: 95x5, 115x5, 140x3, 145x3, 150x3, 150x2, 130x7, 105x12; PRs - 3RM, 3RM, 12RM.
Time: 45 minutes
BW: 256.5 lb.
Today didn't start off feeling like a great day for weightlifting (due to a variety of reasons), so I went anyway. Presses would have been awful, so I curled. After futzing around with some warmups, I got a new 3RM at 145. A few minutes later, I thought it wouldn't hurt to try 150. And I got it! Things are moving in the right direction. Doing heavy curls with some lean back wasn't the best for a lumbar strain (earned while deadlifting), but today needed some fun lifting, and fun PRs fixed it up.
After not pressing for a while, I guess it will be a way to test the dumbbell pressing experiment. We'll see how that goes next week.
