As usual, your PRs are amazing, and it will be great to watch your lifting goals come to fruition. Wishing you and your family an outstanding New Year!

    January 1, 2016.

A great way to start a New Year is to get in the garage and move some weights.

    Deadlift: 135x5, 225x3, 315x1, 365x1, 405x3, 455x3, 365x12; PRs - 3RM, 12RM (for raw deads)

    Rows: 255x10, (265x8)x2; PRs - 10RM, 8RM

    Time: 61 minutes
BW: Not measured, but thanks to a steady diet of nonsense, likely over 260.

Ahh, the return to the garage to break in the New Year. A new year of lifting is awesome - there is so much opportunity over the next 52 weeks (or, 208 training sessions). I get to start a new spreadsheet to track all my lifts. With that, what better way is there to start than by earning some new PRs? The deadlifts felt good, better than the belted ones from last week. Regarding rows - I like slamming the bar into my gut & making the plates rattle. An excellent noise maker to celebrate the changing of the calendar.

Get stronger, be positive, and have an awesome 2016.

    Video evidence of PRs:
    455x3 deadlift:

    365x12 deadlift:

    255x10 row:

Just another Sunday afternoon clockpuncher training session in the 504 Barbell Club.

    Bench: 135x5, 225x5, 275x1, (300x2)x8

    Curls: (145x3)x2, (145x2)x6

    Time: 76 minutes
    BW: NM

A couple of nights of low amounts of sleep made today's training tougher than it should be, with a little too much inter-set rest. Well, it is the first clockpuncher of 2016.

    Get strong. Really strong.

    Happy New Year!

Benching and Curls. True Bro workout! I know the feeling though... lack of sleep, needing extra rest time.

Great New Years Day training session though... Deadlifting 455x3 looked really good. Followed by 365x12! That's some serious mental toughness. Congratulations on the PRs!

Thanks Mahendra! High rep deadlifts are tough (which explains why I'm still fatigued today...), but they aren't impossible. The toughest part is convincing myself to step up and do them!
