    Took a week off due to Labor Day. Today, the deads were going up very easily. Don't know yet if its because I had a week off from them, or if the move to Mondays helped. I'll know more in a few weeks.

    Oops! Those ring dips may have screwed up my bench. That or the deadlifts. Next week I will not do ring dips the day before and try this one again.

    Ring work (back and bi's)

    Deadlift went ok today, but the 321.5 was feeling heavy enough that I didn't want to do any extra reps, fearing it might impede recovery for next week. Next week of course will be the true test of the schedule change's efficacy.

    Shit. Was supposed to hit 5 at 268. Missed it last week, too. I actually went for the 4th on the first set and failed (which was a little surprising), so I decided on a second set. Also failed pretty well at my back off sets. Last week I had thought the ring dips interfered. Now, I'm wondering if the deads interfered. I may try bench on Monday and deads on Tuesday to see if that helps any.

    I'm surprised by how well the main sets went since its been about two weeks since I pressed last. Actually quite pleased. I'm also surprised at how poorly the other sets went... Didn't even attempt the 5th. Next week I'll start at 125 and see what happens.

    This sadly officially marks the most I've ever deadlifted. I have done 355x5, but this is the most weight. Only 1 rep - didn't have the mental stamina for more. I think the schedule change is working. I'll see what happens on bench tomorrow, still might switch the two days.

    I was sooooooooo close to the 5th rep at 268. I'm honestly a bit frustrated that I didn't get it, but I will give it one more week. If a no-go, I'll dial it back a bit. Dropped 10lbs on my BBB sets and got all 50, but the last three were real tough.

    Not bad! I'm pleased with how today went. Did some hangs from my pullup bar in between sets to work on grip.

    Battle Ropes 20s on/20s off 15 intervals

    Back after an accidental week off. Deads felt pretty good, aside from my grip, which was limiting. Did DOH for the first two and mixed for the last. Had more in the tank but grip was failing and I didn't want to overdo it coming back.
