    Doing a powerlifting meet this Saturday so I just did one work set for the squat and bench press.

    Did my first full powerlifting meet.

    Squat

    Made all three attempts. I was a bit worried about squatting deep enough during the heavier attempts but got all three white lights for the second and third squats.

    Bench Press
    198x1

    Tried for a 5lb PR but the bar barely budged at the "press" command.

    Deadlift

    I had planned to try for about 425lb but after having a tough time with 396 I knew that wasn't going to happen. Bombed with 412.5lb.

    My main goal for this meet was to total at least 900lb and I ended up totaling 924lb. Not sure when I'll have the opportunity to do another meet, but my goal for the next one will be to do at least 950lb total and to compete in the 90kg division. I had ended up competing in the 100kg division (I came in right at 215lb).
