    Started warming up and soon realized that I had left my belt at home. I thought about doing my last warm up set and calling it but I did it with no problem so decided to go for at least one rep of 315lb beltless. Lucked out and found the gym owner's belt in the back of the gym, did my one set of three with 315lb.

    My homemade deadlifting platform is showing it's age; the bar kept wanting to move away at one side. I'm pretty sure I would have gotten all five reps if I didn't have to deal with that. Will try deadlifting at a different spot or use some strategically places plates.

    Went beltless until the last two sets; I used to belt up whenever I went over 225lbs. Still had issues went my bar being uneven despite using two 10lb plates as a remedy. Will deload 10% and use a different spot on the platform.

    Had a long day at work and forgot my gym shorts again. Tired and facing the prospect of squatting in my scrub pants (my backup pants that I keep in the trunk in case I splash blood/urine on my good pair)...I did my session and killed it.

    Did my session this morning as I've leaving for a trip to Georgia in a few hours and wanted to get it out of the way. Today's lesson: while a bad session you do may be better than a great session that you don't, morning (starting an hour after I wake up) sessions and me aren't a good mix.
