On vacation in Savannah, GA. Doing my sessions at Fitness On Broughten this week. Nice facility but on the small side (only two squat racks and one is a Smith).

The squat rack was in a woman who was using pretty light weights; the bench was available and didn't want to mess with switching several plates at a time to work in with her. The bench setup fit me pretty well I must say.

The squat rack isn't the type I normally use but I quickly came to like it. Squatted in my Chucks as I didn't want to bother with packing my squat shoes. The good food I've had must have done me some good as most sets felt surprisingly easy (especially the warmups). A few tough reps toward the end but I'm pretty sure I was squatting to depth and then some.

Haven't been able to get my usual amount of protein in; it may be starting to take its toll.

Originally wasn't going to do these as I still had some lower back pain. Decided to try the warmup sets to see how I did. A tad bit of pain at the top of my reps but it seemed to subside as the weight went up.

The main reps felt tough but my lower back did just fine tonight; only a tad bit of discomfort.

Helped another lifter spot a failed rep as I was starting my warmup. Should have asked him to spot me at the last set; ended up dumping the weight after I failed the final rep.
