    LP redux has been going mostly ok. I can feel my body shifting to the right as I press in order to compensate for the weakness in my left arm. It’s hard to tell if the arm is getting better or not. Done with prescribed ibuprofen. Getting acupuncture and chiro along the way.

    Squat:
    335x3 @6
    365x3 @9
    365x3 @8.5
    365x3 @8.5
    365x5 @9.5 (because EdGuy has a similar effect on squats as Manowar)

    Could have gone heavier, but I’m starting to think that my body can’t recover from both squats and deadlifts. (And the lightish weights influenced me go lower which made things more strenuous ayways.) I was doing things in the more traditional fashion of starting the “week” with squats. After last week off I reversed that to put all the emphasis I can on deadlifts. I will get to a 500lb deadlift!



    If I had better photoshop/art skills I’d replace the bones Lancer’s logo with barbells.

    I had a really good deadlift session last time so I'm keeping squat volume down to see if I can get another really good deadlift session.

    is it true if you play the solo from "its a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll" on the bagpipes between sets you put 20lbs on your max?

    440x1 @ fail on 2 (saw it coming, didn’t want to believe)

    * Last week sucked for recovery and the work up sets told me to stay lighter today. So much for listening. At least I know I was right, even if I made the wrong decision. Next week I do straight across volume somewhere in the, guessing ~430.

    Assistance Squat werk

    * Weather is getting warm enough to get on the bike so I’ll probably start hitting the road a bit this week.

    I couldn’t use my gym for a little while because, well, let’s just say basement gyms and old plumbing don’t get along.

    Press:
    135x5 @8
    135x5 @8
    135x8 @9

    * This was important because it surely tells me that my nerve issue is, at least, much better. Previously, I was barely getting one rep at 135.


    Deadlift:
    405x3 (@9)

    * Not there today - so I'm going to try what I did last time and come back in two days with more weight and volume.
