    Soooo, had my yearly physical today. Had to go in fasted at 2pm, for blood work etc. Luckily, I don't usually wake up until 11:30a, so the fasting wasn't too bad. Doc seemed very interested in checking me for sleep apnea, especially after we discussed some issues I've been having lately. He said if my total test came back under 400ng/dl he would order a sleep study.

    Anyways, I was effing starving after the appointment, so I hit up a local hibachi place for their steak plate with veggies, fried rice, and of course, extra steak. I am justifying this mid-week cheat by officially dropping 20lbs since the start of this diet. I was at 283 this morning.

    Mmmmph. Presses. Decided to end it on a good note. First rep barely got off my shoulders. The rest all got stuck right above the forehead. In order to be successful, I have to press as SOON as I step back from the rack. If I stop to reset or get another breath, I fail the lift. Think I will back this down to 185x1x5 next P intensity day.

    Mmmmmmmpppphhhh. Bench. Got a cramp in my left abdominals on the third rep, had to rack it.

    Wearing belt on 8th hole.

    30mg psuedoephedrine, 700mg caffeine pre-WO. Decided to take yohimbine hcl after WOs, as I can't get past the puking side effects.

    Just heard back from the Doc, total test is at 309ng/dl, normal ranges are 348-1001ng/dl. So we will do the sleep study. Other than that, cholesterol was a touch high, but nothing to worry about. Everything else was copacetic.

    Now that I know my test is this low, I have to wonder: How low would it be if I weren't working out?

    After 185 on SQs, my adductor and upper hammie's still felt extremely tight. Last time I felt like that and I lifted heavy, I got a small muscle belly tear in my left hammie. So no heavy sets today.

    DL was ok. On first rep, didn't quite get it to lockout because hands started to open up with DOH grip. Next three were fine with hook grip. Second set was just to get a couple more reps in.

    So, I am wussing out on 330. Last week, after doing 330 for 24 reps, I ended up using Icy Hot every two hours at work just to keep my legs from cramping all the way out. As it was, I still had quite a few painful cramps that day. And then on SQ ID day, my hammie's were so tight that I didn't want to risk going heavy and potentially tear something. We will see how it goes at 315.
