So....no power in the shed. No power means no fan. No fan means extremely hot. Did my best. Had a pretty brutal storm come through here yesterday, knocked the power pole off the shed wall and jerked the cable out of the meter box. Yayyyy!
No fan.
No music.
Still got a decent WO.
As I was wrapping up SQs, the power guy showed up. He looked at the situation, and then said that I was gonna need an electrician. Then I guess he took pity on me and we rerigged the pole, the power box, and got the power going again. Turns out he had just started working out and wanted to talk about training. So I told him to stop by whenever he saw the garage door open.
After all that, had no time for Chinz as it was time to go to the hospital. For the delivery. Should have baby PRs tomorrow. Lifetime PR. Forever.

baby PR!!!
Wife gave birth to our first child on 6/24/15 at 8:27p. He came into the world weighing 11lbs 0oz, 23" long.
Son, if you ever read this log, please know that one of the happiest/best days of my life was when you were born. I pray that I can give you a great start in life and always fulfill your needs. So when I am busting your ass about getting your SQs/work/whatever done, know that it is out of love and wanting you to be the best you can be. And always love your momma! - your proud father.
Holy shizzle-dizzle, everything sucked. Wasn't hard, just painful and slow. DL went much better than I expected.
Going to orthopedist tomorrow to get my right knee checked out. I have self-diagnosed as either a lateral meniscus tear or biceps femoralis tendinosis. We shall see if I am correct.
Ortho did X-rays, nothing showed up. He has ordered an MRI, will try to get that knocked out ASAP. Timing on this really sucks. I am entered in the Palmetto Classic, Sept 19th, a USAPL meet. The ortho did say that he was pretty sure it was a lateral meniscus tear. Projected recovery time from getting scoped is 6-8 weeks. I figure if nothing else, I can do a light SQ and DL, and at least get the meet experience. (The ortho was extremely surprised that SQs did not hurt my knee. I guess he is more used to the traditional SQ model. Will ask next time.)
On DL days, going with 3x5 to save time. Next week will do same weight at 5x5.
First set of B, left obliques cramped up on 4th rep. Racked it.
Holy hell, tweaked lower back on last set of DLs. Seems to be on left side, right at base of spine. Sore as shit. Give it a day or two and see if it subsides.
Recovery is shit. Sleep is shit. Losing weight. Just trying to maintain right now...
